Plywood H Molding Extrusion. A panel edge clip (often called an H-clip) is typically a small piece of aluminum that is placed between adjacent wood structural sheathing panels at a location between supporting joists or trusses and/or rafters to provide support to panel edges.
Used to splice butt joints of plywood soffit systems. Designed to cover vertical and/or horizontal joints in siding. Longer lasting and more effective than contractor grade caulk. Provides a smooth seam at joints. Typically ordered in 6063T-5 extruded aluminum alloy.
